Domain valuation guide

What could your domain be worth?

Registration price is what a registrar charges. A resale estimate describes a possible sale context. They are different numbers—and neither guarantees a profitable purchase.

What affects a domain estimate?

Length, extension, readable words, digits, hyphens and commercial relevance are useful starting points. Comparable sales, actual buyer demand, trademark checks and carrying costs need separate investigation.

How do our estimates work?

Without an external provider, Domain Grove shows a transparent name-feature heuristic with a zero lower bound. When HumbleWorth is configured through Replicate, the result identifies that source and separates auction, marketplace and brokerage estimates. GoDaddy and Dynadot are available as independent comparison tools; we do not label our own numbers as theirs.

What do S, A, B and C mean?

A/B/C reflect our name-feature score. S additionally requires provider evidence: an auction estimate of at least $1,000 and a feature score of 85 or more. These grades are not professional appraisals.

Can I estimate an unregistered domain?

Yes. Create an account to estimate a name before buying, then separately check availability, registration price and renewal fees.
